The C.S. Forrester aground in the River Hull. The ships built at Beverley were floated down the river to Hull on two tides. Final fitting out of the vessels was carried out in Hull. On this occasion a miss judgment was made in the tides and the vessel ran aground on a bend nearly capsizing.
