Winhill Lock looking up the chamber, restoration of this lock will require new bottom gates, replacement of the fixed bridge with a lifting or swing bridge. The top gates are in tact but require beams. Picture taken in 2000 the lock was restored in 2005, new top and bottom gates fitted and a by-wash installed.
