Skerne Road bridge (Wansford bridge) near the Trout Inn, a fixed bridge at Wansford that replaced the former swing bridge in 1967 (looking towards Wansford). This bridge is the last major obstacle. Navigation to the bridge is now possible; however check before passing through Snakeholme as until the section is dredged silt can cause problems for the trout farm above Snakeholme lock.
