Struncheon Hill the Weir at high water

Struncheon Hill lock (bottom gates) on 3rd June 2000. The River and the Canal are at the same level on this tide. See adjacent picture for normal water level on a high tide. The high water level in this picture was due to the heavy rain causing raised levels in the Canal and a 7 meter plus tide in the Humber.
