Recently refurbished these cottages were built in the early 1800's and have a double bedroom with en suite shower room, lounge with beamed ceiling color TV and video. The two cottages and apartments open onto the courtyard (pictured above) with access to the garden, pond and seating area.

The Village and Surrounding Area

The village of Wetwang is ideally situated for touring and walking and has two public houses (both serving bar meals), village shop, post office, fish and chip shop, Norman and Methodist Chapel. The village is centrally situated for the coast, historic York, the market town of Beverley and Pickering with steam railway and forest drives which are within 45 minutes drive. Sledmere House, Burton Agnes Hall and Castle Howard are all well worth a visit. Wetwang is also the ideal location for those short strolls or energetic walks in beautiful countryside.

LOCATION

The village of Wetwang is situated on the A166 halfway between York and Bridlington.

Carradale House is located on the right hand side of the main street when approaching from the west (York)
