Code of Conduct for Boat Owners and Operators.
|
- All craft must display an identification name or
number.
- All craft must display a current registration card.
- All motorised craft must adhere to the speed limit,
which is 4 m.p.h. (the equivalent of a brisk walking pace.)
- Proceed carefully past moored boats and anglers.
- No sewage or oils may be discharged into the water.
- All sea toilets are to be sealed to prevent
discharge.
- No rubbish to be dumped in the water or on the
banks.
- Do not leave fishing tackle in the water
unattended.
- Do not leave broken lines or old gear lying on the
banks or in the water, it can cause a hazard to wildlife (and
propellers!).
- Do not disturb vegetation unnecessarily, keep to
the path if possible.
- Do not pick or uproot flowers or plants.
- Report all instances of damage to the other party.
