MEMBERSHIP of the Society

The Humber Keel & Sloop Preservation Society is a non-profit distributing company, limited by guarantee, and registered as a charity. Membership is open to all who support its aims, and those who are willing and able to join in the work of maintenance and restoration, in sailing the vessels, or in recording and presenting their history are especially welcome.
The Society’s journal 'The Slabline' contains articles of historical interest as well as information on the Society’s activities. It is available free to members, and is published twice a year.
Subscription rates are given below:

Ordinary Membership £7, Husband and Wife £8
Pensioner £3, Husband and Wife (Pensioner) £4
Junior Member (under 18) £3

In return for a donation of £50.00 you may become a Patron of the Society.
Subscriptions are payable on 1st May each year. A member joining after 1st January is required not to renew until 1st May of the following year.

Occasional meetings and social activities for members are held during the year, and fund-raising is a major pre-occupation. However, our main activities are centered round our two ships, and members and their guests sail aboard them throughout the season.
