SERVICES OFFERED BY THE SOCIETY

Educational work forms an important part of the Society’s activities, and illustrated talks on Humber Sailing Craft can be given by our members. The Society has organised a number of historical exhibitions, and maintains an archive of photographic and other material, some of which it has published.

The Society holds Open Days when the public can inspect its ships. Visits at other times can be arranged by appointment.

Both 'Comrade' and 'Amy Howson' have a spacious hold very suitable for exhibition use, and also for social functions. Via inland waterways they can reach many centers of population. Enquiries for the use of the ships by commercial or educational organisations should be made to the address below.

'Comrade' and 'Amy Howson' do not sail on a commercial basis, but enquiries from those who would like to experience sailing in a traditional craft, both from individuals and from interested groups, are welcome.
