Brigham Bridge

The bridge as it was awaiting replacement by a swing bridge. (picture left February 2001)  Pictured right is the replacement bridge which was officially re-opened on 5th April 2003.

The narrow boat Raven at Brigham bridge (the boat that thought it was an ocean going yacht without a mast) at Brigham bridge. Raven could pass under the bridge during low water conditions and had on several occasion travelled up to Snakeholme lock. A planning applications for a replacement swing bridge was granted in April 2001. Work started in 2001 to replace the bridge and completion was in March 2003. See the Replacement
