Virtual Cruise the Humber to Hull Bridge Part 1

This Virtual Cruise consists of over 80 pictures and has been split into 4 parts.
This is Part 1 starting at the Fish Docks viewed from the River Humber,
into Old Harbour then up the River Hull to North Bridge.
The pictures may be slow to load because of the resolution used to give good picture quality.

Photographs of a Cruise from the Humber to Hull Bridge up the River Hull on 28th July 2000, by the Narrow Boat Tame Valley on its return to the Driffield Navigation. Tame Valley entered Old Harbour at approximately 12-30 hours one hour after low water on a Neap tide. Normally one and a half to two hours should be allowed for the tide to rise before proceeding up the River Hull to allow the tide to push the fresh water back up the river. Bethell's Bridge Boat Club Members will give any prospective navigators of the River Hull details of Navigation times etc.

The start of the River Hull may go through some dereliction but once the outskirts of Hull are reached it becomes a cruise through pleasant English country side up to Struncheon Hill lock. You will find it an experience to remember by boat. Public foot paths follow the course of the River Hull from Hull to Struncheon Hill lock and beyond. So why not pay the area a visit?
